I have benefited from a rich and varied yachting career; from ocean sailing to Chief Engineer on some of the largest and most complex motor yachts. Several years as yacht engineering contractor; shore-based refit and technical management , survey work and seasonal on-call control fault repair.
This spectrum leaves me with a level of technical insight that is a rarity in its depth and scope within private and commercial yachting.
I have a strong seafaring ethos, track record and strategy for optimising vessel condition; particularly those with multiple issues and that have suffered any level of neglect.
My approach is pragmatic and diplomatic with crew, and I endeavour to adapt and tailor assistance to the given environment and customer requirements. Commonly, many aspects can be covered quickly.
